Trump will claim that he has kept his "no new wars" promise.

After all, this is the SAME "47-year war" America has been fighting for..."uh, a long time, I'm not sure just how long, but a LONG time! Maybe 100 YEARS!"

Wait for it...

(Wish I was joking.)

Oh, Chiquita, Trump is a liar, a master liar. He may imply no new wars, yes, because he considers the former ones weren't concluded. Perhaps this is why he wants to invade Canada, after Canadians and Britons entered Washington in 1812. Or Cuba, after the 1898 Spanish–American War. At this point, he may even decide to re-enact the 1776 wars against George III. I shall (partly) escape this madness this evening, watching the 1995 "The American President", with Michael Douglas. For a smile on your beautiful flews, you and foofaraw watch this video.

Rosa Maria,

Ain't it tha truth!

But I wonder if we may be seeing something new. Typically, people like MTG, Tuberville, Lee, Jordan (or dozens of other MAGA) and Trump said any CRAZY thing they wished, knowing their cults ONLY watch far-right "news" and they'd never encounter a truthful rebuttal. And as we know, on the right there may as well be zero reporting on most things that show MAGA (or Trump) in a bad light.

But something may be changing. MAGA has questions about things (like Epstein, tariffs, ICE, war) that they are learning they have to go outside of their bubble in order to research. (Or, at the least, right-ish influencers, wanting to keep their audience, are expanding to consider those sorts of questions.) And much of that is new, and may (at the least) keep some MAGA home in November.

I'll watch your video now. Thanks for the info!

You are fully right, those things MUST change. I am just expressing my opinion, based on what I learnt in history and here in Substack. Uruguay doesn't publish much about the USA, only what concerns the country, like, about 100 Uruguayans were rejected entrance and sent back here. Besides, I work as a veterinarian, not much political knowledge. I fancy even you Chiquita know more than me.

Rosa Maria,

You absolutely MADE MY DAY with that video!

Watching a mole play Whack-a-Trump was my favorite moment!

Thank you, my friend.

You are most welcome, either of you. There are more of these videos, about Canada, about Greenland, by other YouTubers. I have downladen several of them, in case YouTube decides they are too sarcastic.

Very good selection of cartoons.

Thank you for covering the continuing, shameful veteran homelessness problem. If only the warmongers cared as much about the soldiers who fight their wars. It's like they view soldiers in the same manner as most corporations view their employees: useful as long as necessary to achieve their goals, then an expense to be discarded to save money.

Joel Pett is the one who struck me today. Veterans. They fought, they saw their friends die in horrible ways, they returned as gimps or shell-shocked. I remember the pictures of soldiers with the "thousand-mile stare". And nothing to ease their suffering now. The other cartoons are as grim, some predicting a bleak future.

The cartoons can't tell the public the horror of war some of our veterans live with on a daily basis. War continues to be a living hell long after the war is over.
