I don’t get the point of the Mark Beckom cartoon on crash test dummies. You need to crash test cars with dummies representing women, children, teens, infants, etc, not just men to determine how they work in the real world. Not everyone I’d 5’10” and 170 pounds. So why treat it as something to be mocked?

Mike Beckom: A big part of our political spectrum thinks that the physiological differences between men and women should determine everything. So it's strange that you should criticize someone for suggesting that more should be known about how women in particular respond physically to the forces released in a crash. And maybe it says more about your perspective that you consider that interest pornographic.
