According to the Trump administration’s elastic new definition of “domestic terrorist,” Renee Nicole Good—a poet, mother, neighbor, tea-and-cookies provider, and self-described “shitty guitar strummer,” apparently posed such a grave threat to national security that she had to be shot dead by a federal agent on a residential Minneapolis street.
The art is superb and on target, as is your commentary. Both simultaneously console and infuriate me, but I think the consolation is more important—and needed. Thanks to all.
The erosion of "domestic terrorist" as a meaningful category is genuinely chilling. What gets me is how the label migration works, from actual threats to just anyone expressing solidarity or compassion near law enforcement. I saw somethign similar happen with "extremist" after 2001 where the term kept expanding until it covered basically any dissent. Once language like this becomes purely tactical rather than descriptive, it stops being a warning system and becomes a weapon for suppresing exactly the kind of community care that actually builds resilience.
Luckovich and Rogers are really on target!

Well done guys, we need some humor in our lives right now. Thank you...
Instead of “America First” it looks like: “Trump First, then Trump family, Trump Donor’s ($1,000,000 or more), Trump, And Trump!
You are so right. It's all about Trump with Miller calling the shots.
A lot of inconvenient truth today, starting with Rogers. And thanks to Margulies for the ROFL.
